MourneQuest is back on Kickstarter and will bring Irish Myth & Folklore to your board game table in May 2019 – if it will get funded this time.
The first KS campaign was back in March and unfortunately, not enough backers felt the urge to get a copy. Since then, publisher Backspindle Games listened to feedback, negotiated lower costs with their production company and is offering a cheaper entry game with cardboard figures (£29) instead of the cool 3D miniatures, which are included in the Deluxe Edition (£63).
Head over to their KS page and help to get the project funded.
About the game:
MourneQuest is a cooperative board game for 1 to 4 players. Average playing time 60-90 minutes.
Players assume the roles of the book’s heroes and must journey in the Mourne Mountains to work together to defeat the evil Shimnavore before it is too late. On their quest they’ll encounter many enemies, including infuriating Bogbeans and terrifying Nightmares like the Banshee, the Changeling and the Dullahan. To triumph, heroes must gather charms, equipment and magical relics, to increase their powers and use their skills and combat abilities effectively.
